This guide will show you how to setup your email on your Windows Phone Device.
Note: In this article where USERNAME is written this is your full email address. Before you start, please unlock your device and go to the home screen.
- Open "settings" in the app drawer
- Scroll down and tap on "email+accounts"
- Tap on "add an account"
- Scroll down and tap "other account"
- Email: your full email address
Password: your password that was setup in Plesk
- Click Sign In
- Click on Try again button twice (down the bottom) if this does not work and then click advanced.
- On the next screen click internet email
- Enter the following Information
Account Name: Whatever you would like to appear on live tile (e.g. Work Email)
Your Name: Your name
Incoming Email Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au (i.e mail.perthwebhosting.net.au)
Account Type: IMAP
Username: your full email address
Password: your password that was setup in Plesk
Outgoing Email Server: Same as incoming email server - Make sure “outgoing server requires authentication” and “Use same username and password for sending mail” is ticked. Then tap Advanced
- You can now pin the icon to your home screen or access it in the app drawer.
