Setting up Email on Windows Phone Devices

This guide will show you how to setup your email on your Windows Phone Device.

 

 

Note: In this article where USERNAME is written this is your full email address. Before you start, please unlock your device and go to the home screen.

  1. Open "settings" in the app drawer

  2. Scroll down and tap on "email+accounts"

  3. Tap on "add an account"




  4. Scroll down and tap "other account"



  5. Email: your full email address
    Password:
     your password that was setup in Plesk




  6. Click Sign In



  7. Click on Try again button twice (down the bottom) if this does not work and then click advanced.




  8. On the next screen click internet email

  9. Enter the following Information

    Account Name: Whatever you would like to appear on live tile (e.g. Work Email)
    Your Name: Your name
    Incoming Email Server: 
    mail.yourdomain.com.au (i.e mail.perthwebhosting.net.au)

    Account Type: IMAP
    Username: your full email address
    Password: your password that was setup in Plesk
    Outgoing Email Server: Same as incoming email server

  10. Make sure “outgoing server requires authentication” and “Use same username and password for sending mail” is ticked. Then tap Advanced




  11. You can now pin the icon to your home screen or access it in the app drawer.
